Julie Masse comes out of her musical retirement for Isabelle Boulay

A live from the universe full of very big surprises.

France Beaudoin had warned us : we shouldn’t miss this week’s Live from the universeShe didn’t lie, as guest Isabelle Boulay was treated to many great surprises, and so were we.

First, singer Dee Snider from Twisted Sisters came to sing “We’re Not Gonna Make It” with all the necessary passion, under the completely amazed gaze of Isabelle Boulay, who even got up from her chair to play the singer like a true groupie.

Then her son came over to play a classical violin piece for his mother, who obviously wept with emotion.

It was before seeing the singular Julie Masse, who came out of her musical retirement to come and perform two of her hits of the time: “C’est zero” and “Billy”. In doing so, Julie Masse offered a nostalgic thrill to all viewers who never stopped loving her.

Isabelle Boulay’s lover also participated in the parade, putting her serious voice in a piece loved by her partner.

Other big names also appeared on the show including Ingrid St-Pierre, Pilou, Patsy Gallant who looked absolutely stunning in her velvet train dress, Steve Earle live from New York and others.

This truly is a musical night not to be missed. Thanks to France Beaudoin and her team for this essential show, which acts every Saturday as a real balm for the heart.
